Encore Recording Scrubber Recognized for Protecting Customer Data

Scottsdale, AZ (Vocus/Advertiser Talk) 20-Jul-2009 — TDI, a leading provider of agent productivity solutions for contact centers, today announced that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) has named its Encore™ Recording Scrubber as a recipient of the 2008 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award.

TDI’s new Recording Scrubber recognizes portions of a recording where sensitive data (such as credit card numbers or social security numbers) were provided and then, based on the user’s preference, either encrypts or scrubs the data. When a section of a recording is encrypted, the user hears the entire recording except for the encrypted area. However, if the user has the proper permissions and passwords, he can listen to the encrypted section of the recording by entering the pass phrase. If a section of a recording is scrubbed, it can never be retrieved; it is permanently removed.
