Monebo Technologies Appoints Two New Members to the Board of Directors
Monebo Technologies, a leader in the monitoring and interpretation of the electrical activity of the heart, today announced it has appointed industry veterans Bernard Harris, Jr., M.D. and Patrick Kothe to the Board of Directors.
Austin, TX, (Advertiser Talk) 07-Aug-2009 — Monebo Technologies, a leader in the monitoring and interpretation of the electrical activity of the heart, today announced it has appointed industry veterans Bernard Harris, Jr., M.D. and Patrick Kothe to the Board of Directors. Dr. Harris is currently the CEO of Vesalius Ventures, a venture capital firm, and President of the Harris Foundation, a non-profit organization he founded to develop math and science education and crime prevention programs for America’s youth. Additionally he serves as a Board member for several companies, foundations, and trade groups, including the American Telemedicine Association, Houston Angel Network, Medical Informatics, Technology and Applications Center, Houston Technology Center, BioHouston, Houston Small Business Development Corporation and the National Space Biomedical Research Institute, Board of Scientific Counselors. Dr. Harris was at NASA for ten years, and has logged more than 438 hours and traveled over 7.2 million miles in space. On his second flight, Dr. Harris conducted the first telemedicine conference from space with the Mayo Clinic and became the “First African American to walk in Space”.
Patrick Kothe is Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer for Monebo, a position he has held since 2004. Mr. Kothe has been instrumental in determining the company’s strategic direction, developing the brand, identifying product and market opportunities, and growing the company by establishing customer relationships. Pat’s extensive experience in the cardiac medical products industry includes past senior marketing and sales roles at CarboMedics, Mallinckrodt Medical, and American Hospital Supply.
