Door To Door Storage Partners with City Year Boston for May 30 Serve-a-thon

Storage Industry Pioneer Provides On-Site Storage and Services to Assist Volunteer Efforts at 22 Boston Locations

The containers will hold supplies and equipment used for location improvements. The Serve-a-thon is the city’s premier community service event. It is estimated that more than 1,500 volunteers will join together to bring new life to schools, playgrounds, vacant lots, housing developments, and parks.

Join Door to Door and Volunteer for the City Year Boston Serve-a-thon! Door to Door is donating all transportation and storage fees on a total of three moving and portable self-storage containers containers. Containers will be on-site in the Roxbury and Jamaica Plain neighborhoods at Marcella Park, Malcolm X Park and at the Crawford Street Playground in Boston. From the revitalization of outdoor classrooms to the transformation of a former dormitory into a new food pantry, the Serve-a-thon will greatly enrich the community with the efforts of its volunteers.
