Blotterpal Announces Launch of Greeting Card Application for Facebook Users

New application is “the HobbyLobby of Facebook”. Blotterpal is the first website to allow users to position items on a virtual canvas and incorporate photos which are stored on the social networking site to create compelling e-cards.

Chicago, IL (Advertiser Talk) 02-Dec-2009 — Blotterpal is pleased to announce the launch of our new greeting card application for Facebook users. The application allows Facebook users to create personalized e-cards by positioning items on a virtual canvas. Users can choose from a blank canvas, a range of background images or photos stored on the social networking site. A unique feature of Blotterpal is the ability to use a friend’s photo as a canvas and therefore produce a truly personalized card for that friend.

During the Christmas period users will be able to choose from over 1000 items, including themed items such as santa and snowmen, all of which can be positioned on the virtual canvas to create the e-card.

Trials suggest that the application will be most popular amongst women aged 30-55. During the trial of 150 male and 150 female users the most active users (those who used the application more than 3 times during a week) were women aged 30-55 (86% of women in this age group).
